While Kritee, a NIFT graduate, had always visualized herself in the world of design, Shruti transitioned from law to fashion by sharing the joy and common passion for clothing. Growing up, fashion played an important role in their lives, forming a natural springboard for them to create a style that fosters hand-embroidery work and a modern Indian aesthetic. This label is a live example of a wonderful way of conjoining the ancient and modern, showcasing a strong spirit of fabric where tradition and innovation work together to build pieces that talk about the dearest moments of their clients.

The brand Kudi Pataka was born from Kritee's realization of the gap in the market for stylish yet affordable Indian occasion wear. Kritee’s passion project, which began with freelancing for bridal wear for family and friends, later turned into a label committed to the finest craftsmanship and tailoring. Every collection is born from the brainchild of careful and elaborate hand embroidery, with a focus on precision garment construction. Subtle yet elegant "Chandniya" plays with mood and playful charm "Luna," and each narrated collection tells a tale with different shades of contemporary Indian femininity.
