In his search for meaning, he discovered the soulful music of Bengal’s Bauls and, through them, the struggles of Bengal’s potters, weavers, and woodcarvers artisans whose incredible craftsmanship was fading into obscurity. The defining moment came in 2013 when he was asked to lay off employees without cause. Unable to comply with corporate indifference, he walked away from his career and chose a new mission: to uplift Bengal’s artisans and restore dignity to their craft.

This powerful vision led to the birth of Rangamaati, a brand dedicated to preserving authenticity in a world flooded with mass-produced imitations.
